We contend that the Trump administration mainstreamed far-right politics through its foreign policy on China, World Health Organization and handling of Covid-19 pandemic. Our Gramscian-Kautskyian theoretical perspective concentrates elite power, class, interconnections between advanced global capitalism domestic inequality. show amplified US Sinophobia even as it deepened connections Chinese corporate elites. Its strategy attempted to appease transnational capitalist objectives ‘ultra-imperialism' draw ideas shore up support base. But administration, much like previous ones, make China a subordinate ‘responsible stakeholder’ integrating pressuring in Liberal International Order.
